Abstract:
Contains watershed boundary polygons for the Konza Prairie Biological Station (KPBS). The data is digitized from 1:12,000 DOQ images. Included attributes are Area, Watershed Code, and Watershed name.
Purpose:
Intended use of this covreage is for research planning and representation of the experimental burning and grazing treatmentson KPBS.
Supplemental_Information:
This version of the watershed boundaries coverage is improved in positional and geometric accuracy over previous versions. Due to these modifications, this coverage will not overlay properly with KPBS GIS data layers produced prior to Jan. 1998. This data is not intended for use with older data layers and it is recommended that only update layers be used for analysis.
